The Modern Pentathlon Varsity Match represents the pinnacle of the sporting year for our two teams from Oxford and Cambridge; the culmination of months of training and focus, carefully balanced with their academic and other pursuits. If you are unfamilar with the event please read our Introduction to the Varsity Match. For timings and directions to all events at the 2011 Varsity Match, please see the Supporter's Letter.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that this year’s Varsity Match is being supported by Ernst & Young. We are especially grateful to Christopher Price, Head of Tax for Ernst & Young’s EMEIA Financial Services Tax Practice (and an Oxford Athletics Blue!) for his interest in the Modern Pentathlon Varsity Match and his support for the teams. We’re confident that this years Varsity Match will help us to forge close and productive connections between Ernst & Young and the Oxford and Cambridge clubs.

Go from strength to strength
Ernst & Young is 144,000 people in 700 locations across 140 countries around the world. Their Advisory, Assurance, Corporate Finance and Tax teams work with some of the biggest and best-known names in business and industry to help them realise their full potential. It takes ingenuity, creativity and hard work.

They're interested in your individual strengths and abilities, not just what you’re studying. That’s because the things that make you good at what you do, are the same things that will make you successful at work.

It's your career
From day one, you can expect to take on real business challenges and you’ll have the opportunity to work with colleagues and clients across the world. You’ll also get first-rate training and a dedicated counsellor but the direction and drive must come from you. At Ernst & Young, it’s your choices that influence the path you take, not your past.

Join us
Ernst & Young have graduate opportunities available across the UK. And undergraduates can join one of the elite EY FastTracks programmes to help you get on track and secure a graduate job before your final year at university.
